UCI Masters Pan American Championships

Join Team USA and race the UCI Masters Pan American Championships this November. Continental Champion’s jerseys and UCI medals awarded in every 5-year age group, from 30-34 on up to 70+.

Held in beautiful Mar del Plata, Argentina, known as the “Riviera” of South America, this majestic city by the sea emulates the best of Europe with its delectable food, rich culture, and picturesque setting, along with shopping that rivals anything found in the United States. In addition, Mar del Plata features one of the world’s biggest casinos, more than a dozen golf courses within 20 minutes of the city, horse-back riding, jet skiing, theatres, gardens, and miles of beaches.

Competition includes time trials, road races, and criteriums on the road, along with match sprint, team sprint, individual pursuit, points race, and kilo (500 meter for women) time trial events on the track.

Unlike other masters events, the Pan Am Championships give masters a real “national team” experience. Athletes recieve coaching and strategy from former US Olympic Team manager Mike Fraysse and are treated just like professional athletes, with massage therapists, team mechanics, etc.

In addition, we will hold a special dinner and photo op with 2008 Beijing Olympic Champions Juan Curuchet and Walter Perez, who struck gold on the track in the madison event. Juan and Walter will also be joining the team on our first training ride–so here’s your chance to go on a bike ride with the Olympic Champions!

Scheduled departure from the US is October 29, with departure from Argentina on November 9 (arrival in US on November 10).
Price for the trip is $1795 and includes:
